I was out in PA on saturday and I foud this 97 lx Bird.
Ill take those wheels for my SHO. Bet it was converted to 114.3 already.
Oh and
:repost:
I've seen a few of those on Ebay at different time.....UGLY !!!!!
There was one of those at the Summer Nationals, Green Hill Park, Worcester mass, this year. I wasn't too fond of it.
lol, its from the gardner/winchendon area and ugmo
Not another stupid easyrod. Do they really think people can't tell it's a Thunderbird under all that ?
MN-12s ran 5x108 bolt patterns. Same as some FWD Fords. Its easy to swap an MN-12 to 5x114.3(4.5) 5lug though. Though Mustang stuff on and there you go.
If it wasnt converted then those rims would be 5x108 and would fit my SHO
super newbie question....MN-12?
Mid-size North America Series 12. It's a completely different chassis than the fox birds.
Interesting color
:idhitit:
LOL think that's bad? saw a black 79-91 stang hatchback with the nose from the 89-91 mn-12 on it @ englishtown in april LMFAO mustang with a beak!!!:mullet: it was packing though sounded like a supercharger,
There was a red 1988 "EasyRod" T-Bird at the Columbus swap meet a few weeks ago. Followed the guy's car in when we were paying for parking. We gave it a glance-over but obviously only from a side view.
I love it when old guys think their Frankenstein cars are "fancy". :D
Back in their day they where. The look of disappointment on my Grandpas face when he found out he couldn't get whitewalls for his Toyota was priceless. Somethings never change.
I want to see what the trunk "sill" looks like when you open the trunk. Looks like there is ALOT of overlay
boy ! i see that look alot at work .whats really funny, is some get really mad:crazy: when you tell them" sorry no white walls today in your size":giggle: ! then they storm out of the store like a 10 yr old does when they can't get there way!!!!!!
I saw one of those at Back To The 50's at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in June. The cut off year is 1964, so that means they registered it as a 1949 or a 1950 and someone let them in. I guess if you allow glass "1932" Fords manufactured in 2008 to attend, you have to allow "1949" T-Birds to attend too....
