Title: Suspension Techniques Springs 87-88
Post by: GrannysBird on November 28, 2008, 12:14:35 PM
I've been looking for a long time at what lowering springs I would like to get for my car and I would really like a set of suspension techniques lowering springs (they're friggin perfect!). Of course as you all know these springs are no longer made for our cars and finding a set is rather difficult.

But if i had say spring measurements and spring rates I think that it may be possible to have a set made by: http://www.coilsprings.com/ (http://"http://www.coilsprings.com/").

So anyone got specs on suspension techniques springs?

check out cougar5.0's thread on the mach1 springs it sold me on the way it sits. I got the back in and will be working on the front next week I'll take some pics when its done. If you go with the mach1 springs you'll need CHE adjustable CA in the rear to bring them up some. I can't wait to drive it with them!

I was going to ask what it was about the ST springs that made them perfect? I'm not familiar with them, nor am I aware who has a set.

I remember finding a set of ST springs at Jcwittney like 4-5 years ago and ordering and paying for them only to have the lady tell me they were on a 3 month BO.. I wanted to try them because of all the hype.

Nate started a spring thread years ago I think a couple guys in there had the ST springs, if not it was on ezboard than.. long long time ago

People like them because the stance is great and they ride well. I had them in my car (actually still have them in the rear) and I liked them quite a bit.

Usually we talk about spring rates, length, progressive or not etc. If we knew the specs we could find which other springs were similar.

Should we email ST and ask if they'll release the specs for those springs?
