will a mustang kit fit a 88 t-bird??
yes, with slight modifications.
should i take it to a shop to have it put in?? (need a cage any way)
I had to elongate one of the rear mounting holes on each side as well as fab up 3/8" spacers to drop the K enough to be parallel with the frame. Not really a big deal. You will see what needs to be done as soon as you mock it up.
I've got another question that could fit in this thread. Would a tubular K member be good for autox and road racing, or should I stick with the stocker?
that would depend on which kmember you are lookin it. a heavy duty kmember with revised geometry, like the MM piece, can improve handling
I doubt I will end up changing it, but I do need to find some new springs
If you order a QA1 it will move the 5.0 motor up like 1" so i had to take off my 1" spacer to fit. just a FYI
i need something that will take a drop i think im gonna pull the wheels
