I am/was originally a Cougar person a few years back, and then got into the Foxbody crowd. After selling off my last car, an 88 coupe, I decided I wanted to have fun with a Thunderbird this time.
I have found a good deal, real cheap, on a 1990 Thunderbird. I understand that 1988 I believe? Was the last year where the TBird's shared the exact same chassis as the Foxbody?
Can anyone please tell me if there is a better forum for this body style car, or what can still be done to a TBird of this year?
I'm looking to throw in a junkyard windsor and a C4, and I just need to know if the 1990 bodystyle still uses a factory 4-link, etc. etc.
Anyone who has experience in this, please chime in, I want to make sure that if I start with a 1990, that I can still achieve my goals. I'm a DIY/Junkyard builder, and i'm just looking to throw together a 7second 1/8th mile car on the cheap to play with this spring.
Thanks. This looks to be a great forum. I appreciate anyone who will chime in and give me some input.
I know nothing about them, but I really hate posting and not seeing any kind of response. So I thought I would just so you knew somebody read your post.

sccoa would be your best bet.
You don't have an sc but it will share the same platform.
Cool. Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. I have moved myself over to TCCOA forums. Keep it kickin! :burnout:
Skip it and get a FOX. This from a guy who has one of each ;)
