didn't your dad want a radio like that anyway?
i'll try to come!
And alex I do believe he does. He told me that I wasn't allowed to pull it out because he likes it and I was like its my car lol I think he wants to trade it out with what he has in his white xr7 if it fits which i dont know if it will.
Here are some pictures from under the hood which is also very clean.

nice, lots of luck with it!
Now all your friends are gonna say you have a granny car. Just roll up in front of them and brake-torque it...
i miss the days my car looked that clean in and out.
That's quite an upgrade from the Amish buggy in the back! ;) lol
Congrats!!
Just got mine painted on Sat i wish the inside of my car looked that nice and the outside is in great shape Congrats on the Ride and Take care of it or make it a Resto Mod.
Yeah me too...
Looks good. Enjoy it. I wish I had those seats!
The Cat can pull that buggy now :D
Congrats on the new ride..........very nice.
where the FRIG do you guys keep finding these awesome scores?!?!?
NICE XR-7 Sam.... Im envious...
Mine is cleaner lol;)
Nice find :D I would keep the factory premium sound if I were you. I've been kicking my self since I pulled mine out. I never use the CD player I put in anymore as I have an iPod. I could just use a cassette adapter. Plus the graphic equilizer looks pretty cool all lit up at night :D
Is that your dad's XR7 next to yours? If so how did it get all rusty?
har har har, i bet mine runs better ;P:mullet:
wow very nice looks great .you will build many great memories in that. i wish my 87 still loked like that
wish i had red--nice ride! take good care of it.
keep the radio! just get a modulator to hook up a MP3 player. i doubt anybody still listens to cd's anymore. :D
Is that an un cracked dash too?
Yes that white cougar besides it is my dads and I don't know how it got so rusty it just did lol!
The dash is un cracked.
And I actually listen to cds because I don't have an ipod yet! I need to get on that!
I was actually rethinking ripping the radio out I'm not sure what I'm gunna do yet.
Tell you what. I got a cd player in my car, Ill give you the keys and you give me yours and well call it even
YES I was gonna say KEEP THAT RADIO. I <3 my premium sound radio. I got the little tape-with-a-wire-coming-out-of-it. I tell ya what for having that and being 21 years old it sounds PRETTY GOOD. It's got some kick and I blast it all the time in the summer. Plenty loud enough to get mom to flip out on me when I pulled into the driveway and didn't know she was out back gardening.
Haha dvp your funny!
What about listening to cds I'd like to do that!
Get an FM transmitter or if you can find one of the tape adapters and a portable CD player. Cheaper and you dont have to do all the re wiring to bypass the premium sound. Once you get an iPod then just use the FM transmitter or whatever you get for that.
Nice score!
X2
I have one of those tape adapters in my Audi for the Zune. Looks a little funny but it works great.
Glad you got it.Nice car.Get a 10 disc changer and mount it in the trunk under the package shelf. That's what I did.You can keep your factory stereo, and have 10 cd's at your fingertips by remote.I got mine for a decent price, and was super easy to install. There are a lot of options for you.Again, great looking car.I'm proud for you.
awesome car!!
Seems the white cougars just rust out all of a sudden. :hick:
Keep the stereo and go with the changer in the trunk or an i-pod add on.
It's going to be a good car. Make sure you get that rust taken care of, so you can enjoy the car for a long time.
Congrats on the new car.
I bought the new ipod nano and got a cassette adapter.
so im not pulling the radio out!
Samantha, very nice looking cat. Good find. Grats on the Ipod also.
So whats your first mod thats going to make it "your" car?
Wow, a new car and money left over for and ipod! Must be nice. I am still saving up for an 8-track player. :D
P.S. Nice car!
i made it my car by buying a soft squishy steering wheel cover and a watermelon air freshener!
yeah i didnt have to save up too much or at all i had so many bonds from when i was little already!
Best buy has a Pioneer Supertuner III CD/MP3 player w/removable faceplate on sale for $74.99. Also has a jack to plug in your iPod.
Just got one for Eliminator.
Congrats on the kitty. It'll look good on ya. ;)
Looks like a nice score. Especially for Ohio lol
Congrats on your purchase. Looks to be a real nice cat, even has the build tag on the upper radiator support. Don't forget to be gentle with those front seat belt receptacles. Hope to see it at CJ '09 or '10.
