I have a set of 5x108 rims im trying to sell and the guy who wants them his car is 5x114.3 will these rims work with different lug nuts?

I would have to say they wont... your talkin a 5x108 being 5x4.25 and the 5x114.3 being 5x4.5.  altho iirc lug stud hole size can allow it.  but i wouldnt count on it

No. The lug spacing is not determined by lug size, it's determined by how far apart the studs are. Even if you could manage to get the wheel on the car (which is highly doubtful - 1/4" doesn't seem like much, but when trying to stretch metal it may as well be a foot) you'd never be able to safely bolt it down.
