Does anybody know if this could be swapped into a Cougar with the Non-Tach digital dash?

Any issues?

cluster can be swapped in if you dont mind doing some re-pinning of the electrical connector.

Yes it can be swap. Swapping the pins isn't really that hard. Search, their is a post about it.

How rare can they be? You have two of them. JK. Are you sure they came out of V8 cars? They look a lot like Turbo Coupe clusters. If they are out of V8 cars, I will take one. PM me the total to 55904. I've got PayPal. Thanks, Mike.

They only came in 88 TBird/Cougars with the V8 so it is a one year only. I got one of them 5 years ago and another one a couple of years after that. Turbo coupe ones have the boost gauge on them under the tach.

I've seen the v8 with the buttstuffog tachometer in a 1987 as well. I actually almost bought a car that had one, until I saw how rusty the car was.

I guess it is possible. I think it may have been a late 87. Somewhere I this board I believe someone researched it and it was an 88 only option. These two units came out of 88's.

do you still have the cluster= need the plastic cover- is it uncracked,in clear good condition-could take cluster too-need cover- that is the main reason.

I know a bunch of you would like this in your V8 car. Remember this is not the turbo cluster it is the V8 cluster.
