Just got the Mach 1 springs in. The front sits just about the same (it had broken TC springs before) but the rear came WAY down. Gotta love those adjustable CHE arms - I raised the seat about 1-1/4", just like Cougar5.0 did with his Mach springs.
I still may adjust the rear down a bit, but won't know for sure until I get the car on some even ground. Which is gonna have to wait until the salt is gone off the roads. Which, the way things are going, will likely be around July. But I digress.

, I can't wait to drive this frickin' car...:burnout:
Looks alot better.
Nice! I like the springs - they are just a bit stiffer feeling than the stock units which I find helps handling without significant loss of comfort :D I may lower mine a tad too once I get the new 17" wheels and 275/40/17 tires on there. Gotta see how close the tire is to the fender lip whch will depend on how wide the tires are at the shoulder.
Very nice !!! The car is looking great so far. I need to bring mine down about an inch and a half in the front. The rear is fine.
MUCH better....
Looks good, definatly gonna add that to my list of future parts to get.
Nice about how much do those springs cost? looks good.
That's another thing I'm gonna wait for - I'll be putting the TC wheels on and the tires will be at least an inch greater in diameter (225/60-15 on it now, 225/60-16 at the least will be going on)
If you wanna use the rears you've gotta use adjustable lower control arms. The Mustang springs are about 3" shorter than the stock T-Bird units.
You can buy 'em new for $200/set of four. I bought these used from a member of the board.
One nice thing about the shorter springs is that no spring compressors were needed to install 'em up front. They popped right in. As for removing the old ones - the right TC spring pretty much fell out, too, because it was broken at the top. The left side just took some careful prying with a long pry bar to pop out.
CHE arms have been in my list since they came out lol, but thanks for the heads up on getting the adjustable lowers.
looks awesome! i think you will love them. they handle realy decent but dont chatter your teeth out on bumps...i love em'
looks great, can't wait to hear about the road test on these.
It looks alot better now. I was thinking Mach springs but i'm not sure if its going to bring it down enough for me.
I have the total opposite problem that you did. My rear sits 25 7/16 on the driver and 25 3/8 on the pass. side the front is sitting at about 27 1/4 driver and just a little higher on the passenger. 22 year old springs!
