theres gotta be more than 116 regular users out there.
maybe all of them did not get the message.
You're thinking that too many of those 2000+ users from the old board were regulars.
I still maintain that most of those were either one-time posters (sales and what not) and those spammers that would make 4-5 accounts in one night and then spam the board with links to pages that would infect some users' PCs. They'd probably be more memorable if Eric hadn't done such a good job cleaning up their nonsense.
I had guessed in a post on the old board that there were about 200 regulars. Given that it's been a week and we've got slightly better than half of that over here now I'd say I was about right. Like Bird351 says, there were many one-time posters, several spammers, and probably a whole lot of people that simply don't own their Fox cars anymore. I'm sure that there were even a few that stopped going just because it was EZBoard as well. I'm sure we'll get many new members here though...
Yeah, while saving all those messages, there were a LOT of names that made me say "Who???".. one quick question and they're gone.

whats your plans on all the topics you are collecting?
I was planning on making them into pamphlets, and selling them on eBay as the "Ultimate Guide to Everything Fox". I figure I could rake in a couple million a week easy. The problem is capturing only the text portion (without all the HTML ), yet still keeping the links and refs to pictures, much like what you see when you go to the bottom of the main page of this site, pick the "Archives" link, and look at any post.
The challenge is, I'm only allowing myself using to use my ancient computer, assorted batch files, obsolete DOS and home-spun Qbasic programs, and the power of my massive brain.
Other than that, just keeping them all from vanishing (just in case).
