Ok, as discussed in this thread HERE (http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=18357) I am offering preformed SFC crossbraces that can be added to your main tubes to improve the strength and rigidity of the SFC installation in your 83-88 Tbird or Cougar.
You will get 1 driver and 1 pass side crossbrace.
Pricing is $23/shipped in the US.
I can ship to Canada, but you are looking at $7-12 more in shipping (1st Class-Priority).
To order, you need to send me an email (cwarren@indy.net) with your shipping info.
Payments can be by Paypal (the above email) or MO (will reply with address if you need it).
I will hold off on ordering for about a week just to get a better idea of how many I actually need to order.
Email sent!
I'll be ordering these the middle of next week. I may have extra, I may not.
Hey Chuck how long till we get them,I was going to weld my sfc's on this weekend ,but I'll wait now.

Well I have about 4 sets left over in this batch.
Got mine today! They look great. Thanks Chuck!
Forgot to mention that I almost did not get these. The knucklehead mailman in my area delivered it to the wrong house. Right house number, wrong street! Luckily, the person that got it was nice enough to drive over and deliver it to me. The package was addressed correctly, my mailman is just a moron.
I told him about his mistake when I saw him the next day, and his response was "oh well, that happens sometimes". No "sorry", "oops", "my bad"... just "oh well".
:nutkick:
Still have a set left, if so I'll take it. Tell where to send the money
Yes. See the first post or shoot me an email.
Thanks Chuck , got mine !
Found mine today, maybe they arrived yesterday? It's priming time.
As of right now chuck how many sets you got extra?
4 or 5
Well gee, don't everyone pile on at once :p
After you sell those, What's next on the list of parts?
I have shock mounts in the pipeline(parts ordered), 2.3T and 5.0 mounts (being welded), and need to get on the caster plates I mentioned previously and see what those will take to get done.
Chuck,
You keep making them, and I'll keep rebuilding my car with them
Got mine yesterday.......... thanks Chuck, greatly apreciated!!!
3 sets left
This might sound like a dumb question but im going to ask anyway. I see subframe connector braces. Where can I get subframe connectors and usually what is a good price for them. I did a search on here but maybe I didnt look good enough. Any help would be appreciated.
Well the point of these is to use them to make your own.
For TBirds/Cougars, all you need is a straight piece of steel at least 5' long and you have SFC's. These just are that added bonus to complete the package.
You should be able to source main tube material locally.
I think you can use mustang SFCs and hack the seat braces off and use Chuck's in there place.
I got 10' 2x2 1/8 inch wall tubing for about $50
got ya.... see a dumb question but I had to ask.. Learn something new everyday.. Thanks guys
Only if the main tubes are straight and not offset and at least 2" wide....
3 sets available.
another pair gone :)..... paypal sent
I wish they fit a mark 7, the guy that does the mark 7 subframes has droped out of creation
Who said they didn't? How far apart are the rearward seat mouting bolts?
im not sure. I can measure them next day it stops raining
have you been able to ship them yet?
thanks
Yes. I shipped them Mon, Parcel Post.
thanks :)
14inches
sweet. More stuff to save up for!
Does that mean, Mark seats will fit in our cars too,
The seats should bolt to the Tbird bases regardless...
yea bird seats fit mark 7's so im gonna go ahead and say the same goes for opposite.
Mason, you just answered your crossbrace question yourself. LOL
Well I never thought of that.... My bad!
Hey Chuck, how many do you have left?
