Title: Clutch cable routing.

Anyone have an image of the clutch cable routing through the engine bay?  Its not immediately clear to me where it goes and they way I have it now its dangerously close to the exhaust.

So it's a V8 car then?  I could show you a pic from my 2.3 but that probably wouldn't help much.

I will say this -- I learned early on that zip ties can fix almost every problem.

Mine had a bracket that bolted down between the strut tower and battery. This kept it away from the engine.

Does the cable route in front of the engine mount?

past the master cylinder, bolts to the side of the engine bay, just in front of the strut tower (i think), down under the motor mount (engine side of mount) and on to the bell housing...
