Title: Hazard Relay
Post by: Phantom phixer on December 08, 2007, 03:45:43 PM
Need help in identifying the hazard and turn signal flasher(s) for a 1995 T-Bird.  Both the hazards and turn signals are not working

I have searched the web for the flasher and came up with a Motorcraft Multi purpose relay # DY864 Ford # F8PJ-14N135-AA.

The local parts store says there are two flashers and that they are the same.  They only thing they had was the standard two pin flasher in a metal can.  The picture on the web shows a plastic unit.

I looked in Chilton for where the flasher(s) is located.  It says "The flasher unit can be found under the dash panel attached to a bracket on the right side of the steering column opening reinforcement."  I have looked in this area and cannot find a flasher that I found on the web.

What I did find was a module with the following Ford # F4SB 14A672 AA.

My question does anyone know if this is the flasher for both the hazard and signals?

Thank you for your help.
