Title: 85' Thunderbird coupe and 87' Turbo parts
Post by: Jays85 on February 21, 2005, 01:15:40 PM
I'm selling my 85' Thunderbird because I have no time to play with it.

85' Thunderbird Coupe Specs:
-120XXX miles.
-(4) brand new tire w/less than 100 miles on them.
-302 V8 (very strong).
-AOD tranny.
-7.5 rear end
-Chrome Ford Motorsport air cleaner.
-Chrome Ford Motorsport valve covers.
-9mm Ford Motorsport plug wires. (Blue in color)
-MSD TFI coil (Brand new)
-Sun roof (Does not leak)
-Clean title (just not insured)

85' Thunderbird Coupe trouble areas:
-driver side door hit. (I have new white door and white fender to fix).
-I removed the belt driven fan to replace with dual electric fan. (still have the mechanical fan though).

87'-88' Turbo Coupe Parts:
-15:1 ratio power steering assembly
-8.8 Traction lock rear end with quad shocks & hard to got bracket.
-(4) snow flake wheels with covers & tire.(35% thread left)
-Electric fan setup (dual fans).
-Front 33 mm sway bar with factory bracket and bushings.
-Rear sway bar, (don't know the size)

Misc. parts.:
-Willwood proportioning valve (Brand new)
-Full digital dash, including Tach, with all sensors & fuel sending unit.
-dashboard cover (Black with silver trim).
-aluminum brake fluid resovoir (large capacity from a Lincoln towncar).  This was for doing the 4-wheel disk brake job on my 85'.
-Mustang factory headers (black like new, no rust).

I would rather not part out the 85'.  I would like to sell it whole because its still a good street machine.  (other that the door and fender)  Just need a little TLC...  I can send picture to those intrested with a price.  I'm not in it to make money, just retreive what I but into the parts.  Lets talk...

Thanks,
Jay

P.S.  I am willing to travel a little way to deliver. I live in Louisville, KY 40216

This is the entire rack assembly, no pump.  Should be a direct bolt on.

I'll take $30 for the complete assembly.  Shipping to 04005 should be no more the $15.  This is based on the package about weighting 20 lbs.

Yes, that is what I want.  I need those from the 87/88 tc for the rear-end swap I did.  Will you consider taking them off the rear-end and shipping them to me?

Let me look at that tonight.  I can't remember how difficult it is to remove those.  I'll get back to ya.  Hang in here...

I thought I would have gotten a better response on the stuff I have for sale.  Nobody interested in a 8.8 rear end which includes the tires, disks, quad stocks and the hard to find bracket?  Full digital gauge with digital tach and all the sensors including fuel sending unit?  Beefy 33mm front sway bar with brackets and rear?  Wow...

I am interested in the rear sway bar as well, but I don't know that I will be able to have the time to drive 2 hrs to louisville as I am right in the middle of the HO/5speed swap.  I am working hard on it just about every weekend.  I am guessing shipping on it would be pretty high.  As far as getting the e-brake cables off, it's just a matter of popping the clips off of the rear caliper.  They should come right off very quickly.  Jason.
