Hmmm, that was weird.
I've always had this place linked as:
http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com
but today all I got was:
- Welcome to foxtbirdcougarforums.com!
- This is a place-holder for the foxtbirdcougarforums.com home page.
- If you are the domain owner:
blah-blah-blah.....
Luckily I got to one of the forums via my History button and changed the link to
http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/index.php?
with "index.php?" like the top banner points to.
I wonder how many other users have the same too-short link and will think the place has crashed?
Speaking of crashed sites, I know a few of us also visit
http://www.ford-fox.org , and might like to know they're back up again.
This seems to be a problem with the mySQL database, which is provided by the site host. There have been all kinds of errors over the past two days with the database. I have sent them an email asking what's up, but in the meantime I'm gonna make up a new "index.html" page with a link to "index.php"
***EDIT*** Seems to be fixed. I went into the site admin page and deleted "index.html" altogether and now it works. I'm guessing that with the problems they've been having at xlinternet they restored a previously backed up version of the site, including index.html (which I originally deleted to force your browser to go to index.php). Hopefully this means they've got the database problems sorted out...
First the clock errors, now this.. :dunno:
 I knew I paid extra for that "bug Bird351" option for a reason... :flip:
Well, I guess that's it then. Back to ezboard. :brick:
You have fun over there... I'll stick with this palce.
I have the last four posts there anyway. :p
