Post by: dudeman351 on May 23, 2007, 08:43:53 PM
will the a-pillar trim quarter trim and headliner from an 86 fit in an 88? reason being there is an 86 right down the street that has been sitting for about a year in the guys driveway. been pondering  talking to him to see if i can get it cheap.

I've never heard of anyone interchanging those parts. It may be possible but I suspect there will be issues.

Why would you want to step back in time? And swap in older parts

What's the chances that '86 is still sitting there? What color scheme is it? Looking for a parts car - maybe.

Dye is your friend.

And the Porno Red is NOT gawd awful, as long as it's leather. Boom chicka bow-wow :D

Don't have enough time for the projects I have now and you want me to dye a red interior blue? :shakeass: :D Main problem is, I don't have to but if that car is blue/blue or blue/gray with a full console then I may decide I really need a parts car. Or maybe it's in better shape than the project.... either way it's close enough to home that a tow dolly is all I'd need. ;)
