"85' T-bird with a 5.0 H.O. motor.....doesn't run, I don't know whats wrong with it. Factory headers, factory 4 barrel aluminum intake, strong auto-overdrive tranny, 8.8 4-link posi rearend, leather power bucket seats, dual flomaster exhaust, working cowl hood, 16" aluminum wheels. 253-370-9503"
I see a stock 85 TBird with a 5.0 that rear-ended a 87 TC. It's got an 87 TC header panel, lights, front bumper, hood, wheels, and charcoal/raven leather bucket seats but left the 85's consolette, etc. The trac loc 8.8 might have actually made it under the car but I *Highly* doubt it actually has an HO.
It says "Factory 4-bbl aluminum intake", so it's probably an '86 or older HO. That consolette thing is funny, though - it probably took more work to mount that consolette than it would have to swap in the TC's console...
i like it other then the consolette
isnt the consolette part of the seat rail?
No, it's part of the seat, and it's a big part (welded on, lots of metal, not just little "tabs").
I like it.Sweet car.I'd buy it for $500.00 quick.
^^^ totally. 500 is like winter-beater territory. IMO that would be a NICE winter beater!!!
dont know if i could do that to it though. id still be ruthless, disregarding all practicality, to wash it all the time so it didnt rust away. i would love another thundercat as a beater but if it was in any decent shape id feel terrible for "wasting" a good example.
looks like the front end graft was done pretty well, though! at least from the pic.
