I finally started to do some work on the 83 and tore the transmition and bell housing off. Here are some pictures of the bell housing carnage
These are just two quick pictures I took with the cell phone. The one is of two large holes on the drivers side, and the secound pictures is from a large crack way up on the top of it. I can get some better pictures later with the camera if your interested. There are a few more holes and ses and places where the metal is stretched but not broken...
It is now time to put the 88TC T5 in form the parts car, along with a RAM clutch and bell housing I bought off of Ebay last fall... Updates to come :beatyoass: :birdsmily:

what happened there!
Whoa!
;)
A little JB Weld and some s metal, good as new.
Wow... any idea what caused that?
Very Nice!
Anything that you break is worth breaking right
Let just say the formula went (Franks driving/stock clutch) + (New front mount intercooler/flakey boost valve) X my ET streets = those pictures.
It had to be pushed off the track, but he did manage to drive it home :D Its still slow :flame:
BTW - That T5 from the "parts car" has been 13 flat, lets see if you can keep up ;)
