Meh, I didnt think that this would belong there.. its more a goof off thing that that..
If the mods move it there... no skin off my nose :D
Dual? I'm lost. I just got it from John and put it in.
The pic you showed me.. the radio is a Dual brand radio.
Ok, I guess. I didn't even know. It works and plays tunes so thats all that matters to me.
i got pioneer 6x8s in the rear, pioneer 6s in the doors, nothing in the dash (i guess that was for premium audio or something?) and im in the progress of getting a kenwood mp332 in. (sirius ready, hd ready, mp3/wmv/mp4 cd playback, rca ins and outs. i wish they made a specific harness for our cars so it was plug n play.. im having to sauder, crimp, splice, run new wires, and its bein a bitch.
how the hell do you get the wires from the door speakers, through the boots, and through the dash? i made it as far as through the boots but then couldnt get any further.
my 87 Bro. II(Eddie Bauer northlander) sony CD player was a plug-and-play in mine, w/stock speakers for now.
Hmmm where to start, guess i'll go from front to back.
Audiobahn 5.25 iasc (tweets in the dash, mids in the doors)

Pioneer TS-A6870R 6x8" rears
Had:
Rockford Fosgate RFX8330 Headunit

I have the other system in my daily and have an oldschool RF Punch 500w amp and an empty dual 12" box sitting around.
Um, in my aspire... Which is going in the cat...
Sony Xplod head unit
Kenwood 6.5
2 Dual 12" woofers and 580w amp
Pioneer 5x7 in it now and others are stock
Nothing much
Stolen boat rounds, old pioneer 6x9's, two new style type r's in the trunk (sealed 1 3/4" box) with an old kicker 12xxxi amp (my 4th one) and a mid-grade newer pioneer deck. God I'm wasted.
Deck: Alpine 9833 (2004, last quality year for Alpine)
Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 62.5i
Front Amp: Orion 3002
Sub: Sound Splinter RL-P 12"
Sub Amp: JL 500/1
No need for speakers in the rear deck or dash. It's more to spend on equipment and decreases sound quality.
Lets see
Dash stock
Deck none
Doors none
Wiring stock
sub None
:( i needs a radio lol
want a stock ford radio?
Ive got one to put in it justhavent gotten to it yet:evilgrin:
hahaha
havin so much fun driving that you dont care about the tunes :D
Sound of exhaust is good enough. lol
Pioneer DEH-P6800MP head unit
Pioneer IB100 II I-POD adapter
Pioneer 3-way 6x8s in rear
Stock dash speakers
Kenwood KAC-7252 amplifier
(2) 10" Audiobahn AW1051T's
Subs are currently in a bandpass style box. They hit much deeper in that box vs. a sealed box which surprised me. That box might not have had enough volume though, maybe.
I want to replace the front speakers and add some to the doors, just haven't got that far yet.
I just see this thread, time to Me...
Dash: is a piezo motorola 3" trimmed with a capacitor.
Doors: stock 6.5" premium sound speakers.
Back: Bose 6x9" 60oz magnet, three way.
Amplifier: Sherwood 240watts (4x60) with 4x1f capacitors.
Equalizer: stock Ford eq from premium sound system.
deck: clarion from Honda 2002 cd player, will change for another clarion black face (to match with the dash) cd/mp3 model DB345MP (change before i'll go the Bird out of the garage)...
Running B+ wire is a #6 strand gauge from the batt to the amp, with a 40amp fuse inline near solenoid switch input (from batt).
Not a big output sound, but so much to ear the music at 100mph all windows open:evilgrin:
That's it, and no more..:hick:
Dom.
my bros system stuff is coming in, so far we got a pioneer deck, a rockford p3 12 inch sub, and a tsunami 2 amp wiring kit, with a 1.2 farad cap
(http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c384/boss3512/sub.jpg)
the sub
I've got:
Deck: Kenwood Excelon CD/MP3 (I forget the model number)
Door speakers: Pioneer Premier 6" two-way
Rear Speakers: Pioneer Premier 6"X8" three-way
Subwoofer: JL Audio 12" in trunk-hogging box
Amp: Alpine 4-channel something-or-other driving the door and deck speakers
Sub Amp: PPI two channel bridged mono driving the sub
Wiring: All stock speaker wiring was used - I opened up the factory amp, cut the connectors off it, and wired them into the Alpine amp's outputs. Two 6-gauge wires run from battery through passenger compartment to trunk for the two amps and two sets of RCA low-level cables running from the deck to the amps. The amps themselves are mounted on the stock amp mounting plate.
Future: I will be replacing the head unit with one that has a USB port so I can connect thumb drives or my MP3 player (without having to use a headphone jack type input). If I can't get one with a rear USB port I'll open it up and run wires out the rear so the media can be hidden in the glove box, not hanging out of the dash. The subwoofer will be mounted in a false trunk floor like Eric did with his 'vert.
SONY CDX 2210 Mp3 player
4 6X8 American something brand...
222 sony xplod for the 4 6x8
2 10`s rockford fosgate punch P1 in a sealed box (in the bandpass was truly loud, too bad for my i screwed one of the woofers...)
444 sony xplod 4 channel, bridged to 2, giving to me like 80rms x channel
Parametric equalizer
I have a kenwood kac 401m with 1200 rms, but im very afraid to destroy my ears...
You getting rid of one?
In the 88 I had
Deck: Panasonic MP3 Sirius Ready
Dash: none wires cut and I never bothered repairing it.
Door: Pioneer 6 3-way
Rear: Pioneer 6x9's 3-way
all thats in the Tib now so it has stock everything all the way around with a busted aiwa cassette head unit.
The 88 is going to go back to stock. I want the interior to look showroom fresh with no modifications.
The question is.. Do you want one?
If it works and the price is right, yeah. :D
hows $40 shipped sound?
Well, that's a bit steep for me right now but thanks though.
stock am/fm ford? i got one ill give to u if u pay shipping once i figure out how the hell to ship stuff out of a 95 ford escort
All stock, baby. All stock.
Kenwood headunit

Far as I know the speakers are the factory originals. There's 200 watt amp under the back seat that I found last weekend while was swapping front seats. (That's right, the headreast displays are gone.) And the dash bezels have been replaced with a set that aren't chopped up.
BTW: Thanks Chuck and Claude. :)
The rest?
Just got some new wire :D
4 gauge. with a 4 8gauge distribution block.. and an inline 150 amp circuit breaker :D
