Title: 4.6L in a fox
Post by: xjeffs on November 05, 2006, 11:55:10 PM
Where can I find information on stuffing a modular engine in an fox cougar or thunderbird?

Has this been done?  Is it a huge PITA?

Thanks

talk to John, aka shame302...he was going to do this, and has or had quite a lot of stuff to do the swap.
In fact, there's a thread about it he posted very recently...i'll link it here in an edit...
and here it is: http://foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=9546&highlight=4.6

Thanks for the link.  Not sure why this didn't come up in my search.

I had a fox mustang with modular motor in it... takes a lot of work... I wouldn't own another one... actually got my bird and another car when I traded out of it

Go find a lincoln mark 8 and strip it and install it in your ride.

Or find a wrecked lincoln navigator and go for the DOHC 5.4L
