that's what i figured, shoot mine only gets 21 mpg at the most now. it needs some work but.. strong motor.. who need a/c? just do a delete ;P lol. can't with these hot summers no more
don't believe the bumper from that model t bird will fit but you never know. don't worry about the body and go ahead and save for the engine! make it look like it won't run with any of the big boys then take them by suprise. that 300 dollar bumper or 100 dollar wing could set you back on getting a nice set of eagle rods or a cam.
Lol nice. so i take it this one is a 3.8? you supercharge this mofookie and ull have a badass car... id suggest going ahead and getting forged internals with the supercharger, might as well build the whole engine if your going this route. keep us posted on the build sounds cool. planning on getting at least 350hp out of my 5.0 this summer. Idk if ill go forced induction or not, i want to see how much horsepower and torque i can squeeze out of it n/a.. ive been suggested to get forged pistons and rods then do a gt40 build, build the trans, 3:73 gears, full exhaust, cam, and see where we are at after its all said and done... maybe a little boost if all that isnt enough! haha
maybe your right then. i had a mustang that did that, but i noticed when i topped it off was the only time it really did it. if thats the case, its probably a gasket. otherwise, you may indeed be looking at a fuel line. i guess for 20 yo cars, we can expect some paint issues lol. mine was awful
I have the same problem to an extent, it just blows halfway cold when set to 60 degrees.. may be a charge but who knows. this has nothing to do with the a/c issue lol, but you said you have 190k on the dash? have you ever had the pvc valve issue or a bad egr? i got one with 120k and i think the pvc is clogged and the egr is bad causing a slight miss feeling once in a while. im just trying to diagnose and figure out common issues with these engines.. 302 seems pretty solid so far. ive heard a lot.. but mines been sitting and has a few little oil drips here and there
this is an old as all hell post but if yall have sn expanation or any suggestions for wiring a radio into the premuim sound that would be great. im sure i need at least a harness but i don't know what to expect when i crack the old radio open and look behind it.. i heard the ground wire was red but i don't know. i have an 88
