You can pull some timing and it will be more responsive but the less boost you can run before it starts to rattle; that's why I said to be careful. Start at 12* and see how you like it, you can also retard the cam some too to bring the power band down to match the ignition timing. Make sure your searching because there are other factors that determine how much boost/timing you can run.

I knew what you meant. Head, injectors and aftermarket ECU make a huge impact on HP and your wallet too! For now get it breathing, intake and exhaust as you plan and make sure you have good Motorcraft wires/cap/rotor. Adjustable cam gear can help tune a bit, up the fuel pressure and pull a few degrees of ignition timing....but be careful!!! That will really wake the car up and should have you happy for a while. I was faster than a stock 5.0 at that point in my old TC.

I have done some damage with the stock 35's and an LA3, they are a limiting factor but if your still kinda new to the car keep it simple for now and keep learning about it. You can find HP in a lot of places, some cheap, some not so cheap.

I have used it on rusty bolts and whatever I have soaked in the stuff came right out like it was a new bolt. The trim screws on my dad's '74 Vette were rusted in place and the philips heads were starting to strip. I soaked the bolts and they went from looking rusty to a greyish as the rust seemed to have dissolved. He thought they were going to have to be drilled out, the half stripped philips head screws came right out! It's not cheap but it works miracles on rusty bolts and nuts and is a big money saver on Advil!

Engine Tech / Throttle body seals (o-rings)
I have a throttle body from what I believe is a MN-12 5.0 from a Thunderbird. I blasted/painted it and now need to assemble but need the o-rings that fit on the shaft. Anybody know what size they are? I have gotten close on a couple but have yet to get one to fit.

If my prices are off let me know, willing to deal and work something out. Could use an electric cooling fan, fox body subframes and stamped rear upper control arms.

Pony wheels, as you can see in the pic the finish is kinda py but they are clean and rash free. Perfect for a respray. Tires are shot and some don't hold air but I think 100 is fair.

I have the original 7.5 rear end from my 84 SVO, its a 5 lug 345 geared rear with disk brakes. I have 2 sets of calipers, the caliper brackets and all the hardware but missing the rotors. Will start out at 200 for the complete set up with the brakes.


I have close to an entire 87 Turbo-coupe interior. Starting with the seats, they are both power bases, I have the harness and switches and plate too that can go with the seats. Seats are in great shape for how old they are, some sun fading and wear but they are clean decent seats. 200 for the front and rear seats?

Paid 1,200 for rebuild, input shaft was replaced as well as third gear and I think second was replaced too. If I can find the receipt I can confirm. Start out at 500 on the transmission.

80MM MAF part # F3VF-12B579-AA AFH80-01, From a 93-96 mark VIII. I never ran it up purchased it for a set up that I never ran, I decided to go Megasquirt instead. 50

TPS harness that connects to the stock fox body and later 60MM throttle bodies and the TPS. Forced4.com sold them but are closed so I'm trying to stay fair at 30.

TC Valve cover, good shape but needs a good paint job. 35 + shipping.

EFI valve cover, nice shape, been sandblasted, primed and then started to paint black. Wound up getting a powdercoated one off evilbay so this one I stopped in the middle of. Just needs a couple coats of black. 75 + shipping
