Thanks for the info.  Will likely get my hood blanket from Class-Tech.

Probably going to bite the bullet and just order all the rubber from Steele, since it seems like they've got a pretty good reputation amongst the GM guys, their weatherstrip kit is a bit cheaper, and their dew wipes come attached to the molding already.  Searched for the vent window felt at JCWhitney, but the part number given in an earlier post (KM810358) doesn't seem to work anymore.

About to start restoring/restomodding my '83 and wonder if anyone has purchased the hood blanket, door weatherstripping, or window wipe kit from this company and how faithful they are to the original parts.

Do it...makes the car look more "modern".  I'm planning on painting mine matte silver and keeping the chrome trim.

Hey guys,

Looking to replace the crispy window channel weatherstripping and missing driver's side black moulding mounted behind the rear wheel and just ahead of the rear bumper.

How much for the driver's side quarter panel molding behind the rear wheel off the white car?  And can anyone confirm that it's identical to those used on an '83 T-Bird?

The sheetmetal under the rear window of the '83-'86 cars seems particularly pr0ne to rust if the clips holding the brightwork on break the paint in the area.  Just looked over the car yesterday and it seems like this is all I've got.
